T-Shirts, Poker Games and Pizza

💡Do you know how to 𝙨𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙖 𝙏-𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙩 and play 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙧? Last week, our 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 & 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙇𝘾𝘿) team came together for a day of creativity, energy and collaboration. Our workshop had several objectives, including welcoming our new team members, providing an overview of all team activities, estimating the size and complexity of our projects, programs and initiatives, and clarifying ownership and priorities.

🗽One of the highlights of the workshop was the introduction of the 𝙏-𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙. This agile method allowed the team to estimate the effort of all current and future projects in relation to each other. By assigning a ’size‘ to each project, we were able to gain a better understanding of the level of 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨 required for each initiative. This exercise encouraged open discussion and helped us to align our expectations of project timelines and deliverables.

🙌 In addition, the workshop provided an excellent opportunity to welcome our new team members and introduce them to our existing projects and initiatives. By discussing our ongoing activities, our new colleagues were able to quickly get up to speed and contribute their valuable insights and expertise. This clarity led to a greater 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 and 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 within the team.

❤️ Overall, the team workshop was a 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 and a 𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙪𝙣. Not only did it allow us to assess the size of our projects, but it also fostered a 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙙, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 and 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 between team members.
